Well, it is really a tough question. I put the career and family at the same level. They are both important to me.

My parents have spent lots of energy on my growth. They have taken good care of me. Without this, I couldn’t have finished my study, even couldn’t stand here today. Now, I am an adult and my parents are getting old. They need taking care of and I think every young man should filial towards their parents. It’s time for me to take this responsibility. And it is our duty to bring better life for my family.

On the other hand, there is a statistic saying that half of one’s whole life is spent on work. It shows that the job plays an essential role in one’s life. So we need to choose what we are really interested in as our jobs, for we have to spend so long time on them. By working, we can practice and get more and more competences until we become a better one. So job is important too.

To this question, I don’t want to set career against family. I think balance is necessary here. My parents will support my work, and I can achieve a higher stage by working. I will balance the career and family and I think I can handle it very well.
